Description: Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the use of wood to construct items as large as buildings and as small as desk drawers. This course covers the vital skills necessary to enter the residential and light commercial construction trades. Skills range from safety, hand and power tool usage, to framing and finish trim. Learner will gain hands-on experience of most construction components from the foundation to the shingles
